Entry Requirements: Must complete an initial assessment
Course Duration: One 2-hour long class per week; Ongoing
Course Summary: This course is aimed at those who wish to improve their English Language skills, and topics covered include:
• Spelling
• Form filling
• Letter writing
• Work related skills, e.g. taking messages
• Improving communication
• Written presentation
Assesment: There may be an exam at the conclusion of the course, subject to funding.
Progression Routes: Higher Level Essential Skills course or GCSE English
