We are looking for a Bank Crèche Assistant to work on an as-and-when-needed basis to cover staff absences and busy periods. Our crèche operates Monday to Thursday, 9.30am – 3.00pm during term time, and we’re seeking someone with the flexibility to work across these hours when required.
This role could suit someone balancing work with family life, gaining experience in childcare, or semi-retired and seeking part-time, fulfilling work. You’ll be helping create a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment for children aged 0–5 years to learn, play, and thrive.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Childcare (or equivalent)
- Experience working with young children (0–5 years)
- A caring, team-focused attitude and strong understanding of safeguarding
